The control unit is the heart and brain of the system: when an alarm signal is triggered by a sensor, the control unit activates the power supply to the buzzers and the telephone dialer, if any, to alert the owner and the security company or the Carabinieri (if connected and registered at the barracks).

The sensors are the elements that control all the events that occur in the protected area. When the central unit is active (armed), if a sensor notices an abnormal condition, it sends the alarm signal, and the central unit in turn implements all necessary countermeasures.

Sirens are very important output devices and fundamental for the functioning of the alarm system. Their task is to signal the alarm condition to the surrounding areas by means of a high-powered acoustic warning and a flashing light, favoring the intervention of a security patrol or a police patrol car. Usually, sirens must be protected by anti-tear, anti-opening, anti-foam, and anti-drilling.

The telephone dialer, where present, is used to signal an alarm condition to the owner of the house and possibly to the police, through a call via PSTN landline phone or GSM mobile networks.

Today, thanks to new technologies with networked power plants, it is possible to manage the systems through dedicated APP and receive a push notification on your phone regarding any alarm generated.
