The duties of the security guards are obviously those of receiving and registering people and/or vehicles, authorizing access to them (on the basis of company directives) with the necessary indications, carrying out the normal operations of any reception (phone calls, mail, etc.), but they will also play an important role in the dynamics of emergency situations that may occur in the company or in the building where they work.

In these locations are normally found the terminals of the emergency and detection equipment such as fire/smoke/gas detectors, anti-intrusion devices and anything else necessary.
The concierge staff should be able to manage the first impact of the emergency and activate the procedures previously studied for the various situations, becoming in fact the focal point and reference point of the organizational machine of security situations.

It is good to specify that concierge service personnel are not special security guards.
